Firing a civil servant because his wife runs for office is good news?

While he should be fired for violating the Hatch Act for supporting his wife on Gov email system. This is one thing. The fact that he is #2 in the FBI and responsible for supervising his workforce for compliance pertaining to the Hatch Act....that is also bad. BUT, what he should be fired for is he is TOO stupid be an FBI agent if he is using Gov system to violate laws. He should be fired. I know I would have been.

He may not get to retire then, and could even be facing charges if this all stands. I agree about the double standard. It's always existed and likely always will. It shouldn't but does. It is becoming a bloodbath in DC due to the election and internal division. I don't see how it can be stopped, let alone reversed. If it was a play by foreign actors to divide us and place doubt in our system....it worked.

Herr Kerr: You are pretty fast to call someone a liar. The Onsma/Holder DOJ's actions and history speak for themselves, from Fast & Furious, to selective enforcement of laws, to Holder being the only Attorney General in US history to be held in contempt of congress. To someone like you, I'm sure that those things are badges of honor. We took oaths to support and defend the Constitution, as did they, but they were very selective in their execution of their sworn duties. If we had done the same, we would have been hung out to dry. Yet you and others like you defend their actions, which is unfathomable to me. I have no understanding for so-called "progressives", who I find to be as dangerous as they are disingenuous.
