Yep, continued postings of FAKE news. Haters need to get so involved in being PROductive in this world instead of spending all your energy on being DEstructive

CMSgt (Join to see) - Obama forced scientists to avoid saying their research was based on science and fact? Link? This isn't about progressive or conservative policies; it's about science. It's about research. It's about better the human condition.

1SG (Join to see) - This is not directed at you. You are a fellow veteran and I have much respect for you and your continued service. But here's my thoughts.
No one at HHS or CDC is condemning science. From CNN: "Lloyd said. "HHS will continue to use the best scientific evidence available to improve the health of all Americans. HHS also strongly encourages the use of outcome and evidence data in program evaluations and budget decisions." The sky is NOT falling.
What did Obama do? He forced his progressive agenda into a number of government institutions. The DoD, DOE, EPA, DOJ, and NASA just to name a few off the top of my head. Take NASA for example.
NASA's mission statement (current): The agency's current mission statement calls on the agency “to pioneer the future in space exploration, scientific discovery and aeronautics research.” You know, launch shit into space kind of things.
NASA's mission statement (2016): "Drive advances in science, technology, aeronautics, and space exploration to enhance knowledge, education, innovation, economic vitality, and stewardship of Earth." Obama effectively grounded an agency founded on space exploration in the name of climate research, international relationships and Muslim community outreach. In defense of Obama, he is not the first president to shy away from space exploration in regards to policy and budget but he went way beyond.
Here's what Obama did for NASA: Charles Bolden - "When I became the NASA administrator, [President Obama] charged me with three things. One, he wanted me to help re-inspire children to want to get into science and math; he wanted me to expand our international relationships; and third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science, math and engineering."
What the fu*k does NASA have to do with 'expand international relationships', and 'reaching out to the Muslim world'? I have nothing against Muslims but what do Muslims have to do with space launch and exploration? Oh, and let's give NASA some funds to do climate change research so we can do that stewardship of Earth thing--what does NOAA do exactly? No, Obama didn't change just words, he changed entire agencies. And guess who paid for it? Obama was elected and it was his prerogative. Now it is Trump's turn. Maybe at least now NASA can do NASA. Who knows, we might just need a new planet once were are done destroying ours. And yes it has everything to do with political policies and agendas...even over at the CDC.

Hijacked! How Obama and the Left Killed NASA: The journey from the Moon to radical activism
Organization Trends, July 2016 (PDF here) By Art Harman Summary: American leadership in space exploration helped create and fuel the high-tech boom that led U.S. global competitiveness since the early 1960s. NASA returned to our national prosperity and national security far more than the investments we made in the agency. We beat the Soviets to the Moon and pioneered the way for many commercial ventures. NASA was preparing to take Americans...

CMSgt (Join to see) - That's what I don't understand. If they say something then we have to accept it as gospel. Lets talk math and science. They should deal in exact facts. Obama and that thing he married did all they could to change science and math. You all remember common core? If you can tell me why your 2+2=5 then it must be 5. as long as you can explain why you feel that way. Same thing as penis+balls = MAN/MALE and not having those = WOMAN/FEMALE. For those who agree with Trump and think FOX News (OXY MORON) is the truth telling source and the LEFT DEMs who swear by MSNBC/CNN/THE VIEW, you all buy into a it is left or right and no common ground can be had. I say ALL media reports are FAKE NEWS. It is so because IT IS NOT NEWS! News is when you report the facts of something and immediately stop at the point where you start implying your OPINION. The rest is just a MEDIA story by opinionated blowhards that truly think that I and WE cannot think for ourselves. Over the years and with constant immersion of 24/7 retelling them same story a certain way regardless of any facts, the followers take on that belief. SO AGAIN. I still choose my version of words as the reporting of FAKE NEWS.

Do you have anything substantive to add or are you simply going to refute a website? (Not trying to be a smartass) Yes, I am aware of CRC's bias; however, Bolden's remarks back in 2010 caused quite a stir. I found many conservative media outlets that referenced this quote but was unable to find this quote on any liberal media sites. Why is that do you suppose? Are you insinuating Bolden's comments were fabricated? I was able to find a piece published by Reuters regarding the White House's feeble attempt at damage control. My argument was not predicated on the CRC article. I was simply pointing out that the party controlling the White House has a significant impact on our institutions; Trump is no exception. I agree my euphemisms detract from objectivity; however, I believe the point is valid.

So if I have this right.......all these people up in arms about some editing that was done on the FBI report about the Clinton email investigation.......are now busily editing out language they consider to be offensive from CDC documents........language that the scientific community has been using for years? Well.......isn't that something......

I'm glad those contortion classes are paying off; there was no logical way to bring up Clinton yet here we are.
