This is awesome and will go a long way to helping students here at RIT! This is great news for me too since I am thinking of switching my program of study to the MS in Entrepreneurship. If anyone has any questions about applying to RIT PM me and I will give you the no BS answers.

Thanks for letting us know Sgt Trevor Barrett that 2009 alumnus Austin McChord has given Rochester Institute of Technology $50 million, the largest donation ever made to the university and one of the largest ever in the region.
The unprecedented gift comes from the founder and CEO of Datto which is a Connecticut-based data protection company with engineering and support offices in downtown Rochester.
That is wonderful news for Rochester Institute of Technology
