US targets Taliban drug facilities in Helmand | FDD's Long War Journal

As long as we keep targeting drug operations in Afghanistan we have a chance of winning the Global War on Terror. Sun Tzu said: "One hundred victories in one hundred battles is not the most skillful, subduing the enemy without battle is the most skillful." Avoiding direct confrontation with the Taliban, but letting them slowly and surely fade away while maintaining a security presence is a recipe for long term peace and stability. Hitting them at their source of income is a sure way of limiting their power and influence. Hooah!
