Case against 9/11 defendant starts to emerge at Guantanamo

Pre-trial proceedings starting off with salvos from the defense. This is "lawfare," my brothers and sisters, not a cohesive military commission proceeding. Geneva Conventions and Law of Land Warfare require that those accused of war crimes only be given the SAME rights as soldiers would receive via the UCMJ. I say we need to abolish the 2009 MCA and then proceed with war crimes trials as originally designed. Hooah!
