In an era where IT security is in the forefront, we dont need petty or superficial things like skin color or who you sleep with to taint the potential job pool. SMH.

Perhaps ham fisted but dealing with the reality that the vast majority of people in the tech field in the US are white males. The DNC is no exception. The problem is that the talent pool also matches that reality so it can be frustratingly hard for an organization that is trying to preach diversity to actually achieve it themselves.

I can understand and empathize with that viewpoint ... however, given the demographics as you have laid them out, for an organization still reeling from having their system torn wide open during the last election cycle to exclude cisgender white males from consideration for positions including IT Systems Administrator, Product Manager and Chief Security Officer is a self-inflicted wound ... IMV.

Well ... the post actually explains it ... IMV, gender normal ...
[begin quoted]
Cisgender is a term for people whose gender identity matches the sex that they were assigned to at birth.

In short, you think you are ... what you are.
