I live next to; (100 meters), a wildlife area. My ‘chair’ is adjacent to a sliding door for my rear patio. A motion sensitive night light illuminates any activity on the patio. Recently, a Coyote initiated the motion lamp, stood by the glass-sliding door for a moment and trotted away. Doggie doors are not prevelant in this neighborhood!

Recently My wife and I were at My parent's house when a Coyote ran across the yard, He crossed again back to the direction He had come. He appeared to be well fed. The house across the street a bear knocked over the fence around His vegetable garden to eat some of the stuff there. No dogie doors here either. Don't need raccoons, squirrels or anything else like that coming in either.

I wonder if the rodents are also becoming alcoholics if they discover discarded liquor bottles that may still have contents ? Gee, maybe they should make a study of that also as long as they are wasting time and effort anyway. There may be diabetic, alcoholic rats out there !

SMSgt Lawrence McCarter then in good conscience they will have to be treated for diabetic retinopathy and diabetic feet. LOL :0) (eyes and feet) - there goes the Affordable Healthcare Restructure

Thanks for sharing interesting read. In cities with Coyote populations I wonder how its effecting them since they eat rodents.
