Great advice here plus you can save money while getting the shows/ programs you want. I'd also recommend checking out an indoor or outdoor HD antennae. We pick up several channels with it just like in the old days with the rabbit ears.

LTC (Join to see) I appreciate the insight. I have thought about doing that because I mostly watch local stations. I have been hesitant because I was concerned that they wouldn't work.

PO3 Steven Sherrill - Sir, I would recommend you looking at your location and where the towers are located in order to get the right antennae. I found a local web page that pinpointed the TV towers throughout San Antonio. From that I figured out the range of antennae we needed. We use an indoor antenna we got from Amazon Prime and it may have cost 20 bucks, it works great. You do have to change your TV settings from cable to air. Then run a refresh and your TV will locate all the local channels. We use a Fire Stick as well and have Hulu so we pick which shows we want vs paying for hundreds we don't watch.
