SSgt Joshua Stone So in your "opinion" it is an attack to not invite a disrespectful to the US guy that plays games for a living to the US White House?
How interesting....

CPT T F - I doubt he would have used a battalion formation to respond to "every little criticism" leveled at him from the "peanut gallery" ... but then again, I doubt you would have taken a knee during a battalion formation for any reason whatsoever ... unless you were getting faint from standing at attention. This silliness started with Kaepernick ... mixing his social/political position with his job as an entertainer. It continued because Goodell didn't have the balls to nip it in the bud. It has become almost laughable as Goodell accuses Trump of not respecting the NFL ... that hasn't done a damn thing to earn respect - quite the contrary. I have no respect for Goodell, the NFL in general, or any of the knee-taking players. Trump is a late-comer to the party. He doesn't figure into my view at all. Irrelevant. Somebody that cares about these NFL players ought to be telling them that empty seats don't pay multi-million dollar salaries ... nor do crappy ratings for televised games attracts sponsors. #BoycottNFL

What a dumb comment. Did you bother to read the context of my statement? Not unusual for most of your inane liberal comments. The CINC IS superior to an O-3.

SPC Randy Semanko - Now that was a good post!
Haven't seen Curry score a TD either though.
I'd simply note in answer to SSgt Ray Stone's question that the difference between Brady and Curry is that Brady cited a family issue for not attending ... and in fact was pictured at his parents wedding anniversary that day ... and Curry (figuratively) spit in Trump's face. Curry invited the response he got though I wish Trump hadn't lowered himself to Curry's level.

If I know you are going to come to my house and disrespect me, why would I invite you? That is like inviting a fox into the hen house. While he is president it is his house and he can invite or dis invite anyone he wants to. If you are invited and openly state you don't want to come...guess what, I don't want you there either...stay at home. You will not berate me in my house...ain't gonna happen.

Curry may not have wanted to visit but as par of the team he was invited...the rest of the team is still invited except him. I am not changing the narrative...it changes for whatever news is reporting and whatever you want to believe. He said he did not want to go therefore I don't want you there. It is your right to protest but it is still a slap in the face of everyone that has ever worn the uniform and served under the very flag that they are protesting against. All these athletes with their protests statement are just as ignorant. They all are acting like they are somebody...they are just fortunate enough to be a gifted athlete. Whether or not they play ball has no bearing on the success of the United States...if yo are so passionate about a cause take your 200+ million dollar salary and put it to good use to help versus acting like a spoiled brat that wants to take their toys and go home.
