And a friend of my wife said Mr. Obama wasn't president during the last bad hurricane, that's proof he was.

The friend may have been referring to the recent right wing twitter storm that questioned Obama's action during Katrina to Trump, not realizing he wasnt president then.

He was likely referring to Katrina, as many seem to forget that was on the watch of GWB. If the reference was to Sandy........there is a lot of photographic evidence that Obama was Johnny on the Spot when that hurricane did major damage in New Jersey......at least Chris Christie seemed to think so (remember the hug?). The ones that went missing were the representatives and senators from red states (Texas in particular) when it came time to vote for aid. Just because some dipstick says something........that doesn't make it so.

If I'm not mistaken, Trump is at one of his golf resorts as we speak. And we, the tax payers, are paying top dollar for him to be there.
