White House won’t commit to signing joint congressional resolution condemning white supremacists

Seems to me the Repubs got work to do and the Dems are not holding them back since they control everything.

I think they are just as hard at work now as they were the past 8 years.

Now, now SGM. You don't want to impinge on their outrage. They may blow a sneaker having to stop so quickly from jumping to conclusions.

Beat me to the punch... I'm tired of the mentality that is someone doesn't move on another's project fast enough, it's immediately classified as a black and white he/she supports or does not support something. Trump already came out and denounced the actions of the organization such as the KKK. The statements quoted of him about people on both sides doing wrong is not his way of supporting their actions. His point that their are good people on both sides is an accurate one. I do not support the actions or the existence of the KKK and similar groups, but I am against erasing our history. It is possible to have both positions independent from each other. The same can be said of those who believe Gen Lee is representative of racism. It is possible to have that opinion without partaking in or supporting the actions of those committing violent acts to make their point. Furthermore, it is also acceptable to criticize the city council in the first place for deciding themselves, without going to the voters first, to pull down the monument.

All of this is designed, in my opinion, to enable and spur on the violence so that politicians can point to the extremists on both sides and accuse them of being representative of the left or right views people in this country have. It's complete BS.
