Good. I hope this is true & they can eliminate him. Hopefully, though, the next in line, militarily, isn't as insane as this guy appears to be.

I would never refer to SEAL Team 6 as infamous TSgt Joe C..
I expect this is most likely part of a cover story. JSOC, subordinate organizations and capabilities don't trumpet what they are going to do after all. Other US organizations are superb at training indigenous populations in infiltration, assassination and similar tasks, after all.

SAD/SOG would be more likely to be involved in this, with indigenous contractors. Unless it's part of an overall US military intervention they likely would not risk the capture or compromise of AD military. Pakistan for UBL is far different than NK. Someone with too much time on their hands thought ST 6 name recognition was sexier. Either of those two agencies would likely not be publicizing and telegraphing their plans if they were involved, unless it's part of a larger disinformation effort. Watch the right hand so they're not watching the left. It reads more like an effort after NK attacks at the early stages, rather than preemptive to prevent his actions. Either way it's not smart to even discuss it, unless it's by design. If this is their goal, a better alternative might be from above during one of his dog & pony shows at a missile launch. Was it a foreign strike or a failed launch mishap? If the damage is sufficient it might be hard to determine. Attribution would be moot anyway because after he's gone they might act differently. His successors might be more receptive to negotiation and less concerned with attribution and retaliation if they realize they could be next. Any survivors might not want to publicize the fact that they allowed it to happen, and instead classify it as a tragic mishap in the interest of survival.

CWO3 (Join to see) -I don't want to get into specifics and thank you for sharing your observations.
I hope that the:
1. current North Korean regime will implode and be replaced by a radically less despotic one;
2. temporary Armistice from 1953 will be replaced by a permanent treaty;
3. the borders will permit families to reunite and develop relationship
My old friends Tony Thomas and Joe Votel are still on active duty commanding CENTCOM and SOCOM respectively. Tony commanded JSOC before SOCOM.

I always appreciate the release of so called secret information. Ten years to kill Bin Laden and he wasn't in a secure environment.

I would send in plenty of drunk marines for diversion?
