I also have an SR 1911 and can't find a thing to complain about. It functions well, the trigger is great right out of the box and it looks sharp dressed in stainless and rosewood. I was on the waiting list for about a year after it was first introduced and picked it up for $645. I should have bought 5 more at that price.

SFC Bernard Walko - It's definitely narrower than the double stacked semi-autos. I would guess that the SR 1911 will feel narrow to you. My hands are about average size and the 1911s fit pretty well. I once had a Desert Eagle .44 mag which is made for sasquatch-sized hands. It's also made for sasquatch-sized bank accounts because you can burn a $100 bill in about 10 minutes of target shooting.
