I saw that show(s) and the video is missing some of the context. The panel was discussing the changes being proposed in history books and if I recall correctly that was a week long series. David Barton has been battling the left's control of publishing companies who distribute text books used in public schools. He's been trying to keep this information in the public view while it's systematically being removed. You have to ask yourself why are they changing our history? Are they truly trying to keep us divided or divide us further using race?

Some of us believe they are stoking the flames of racism by preventing us from knowing our real history. Aside from the heroes/legends they spoke of in this video, there is a narrative that tries to make slavery a black and white thing when it was a slavery thing, period. Those pushing the black and white narrative are keeping history from everyone. Look up William "April" Ellison, not all slave owners were white and according to the census taken during that time there were over 100 freed slaves who became slave-holders themselves. Why are those facts omitted from the text books and why are they attempting to make it sound like only white people owned slaves.

Good question. Why is the Left rewriting American history? Think about their ultimate goal: To fundamentally change America. First they must create a history that demonstrates America is in need of fundamental change. Then they must create a history showing how all good changes thus far (end of slavery, women's suffrage, Civil Rights, etc) are the result of their efforts and their efforts alone. Yes, it really is that simple.

Interesting, I blame the Department of Education. Federal Govt. needs to get out of our school systems.
