It will end when we go after the puppet master behind all this unrest, the ones paying, busing in rioters and altering the news reports to show what they want according to their agendas. It will end when the F-Tards that are so easily brainwashed into getting triggered over monuments from our history close their Pie holes and behave like adults instead of temper tantrum troops. For good or bad these monuments are our history and when we remove them, change history books and substitute emotion driven BS to the new standard then we destroy this nation worse than any of our past mistakes could. Those that are driven by pure emotion can not make clear, thoughtful and fair decisions and only want you to do what they want like spoiled little children. They become world class attention whores seeking their daily fix of look at me I am virtuous and good while everyone else is a NAZI.

1SG Dennis Hicks - Confederate statues are racist EINSTEIN. It's your business if you want to idolize racist traitors, but I'll call it what it is which is TRUTH.

Well, let's see now. We have been eradicating historical emblems from 1492 and maybe even earlier, and are now eradicating the symbols from one of the bloodiest eras in American history. We are denouncing the offices of those elected to represent us, and are beginning to scour the lifestyles of those that founded our nation. Soon, nothing will remain and our freedoms to speak in opposition to a different line of reasoning will be eradicated as well. I am beginning to believe that we are living "1984" and we are all just players on a stage being manipulated (and it may not be our government as they too are just a player).

Surprised they haven't found a way to tax those activities. Maybe not, that would disenfranchise the Democrats constituency.

Just an FYI for everyone:

Confederate soldiers, sailors, and Marines that fought in the Civil war were made U.S. Veterans by an act of Congress in in 1957, U.S. Public Law 85-425, Sec 410, Approved 23 May, 1958. This made all Confederate Army/ Navy/ Marine Veterans equal to U.S. Veterans. Additionally, under U.S. Public Law 810, Approved by the 17th Congress on 26 Feb 1929 the War Department was directed to erect headstones and recognize Confederate grave sites as U.S. War dead grave sites. Just for the record the last Confederate veteran died in 1958. When you remove a Confederate statue, monument or headstone, you are in fact, removing a statue, monument or head stone of a U.S. VETERAN.

18 U.S. Code § 1369 - Destruction of veterans’ memorials
(a) Whoever, in a circumstance described in subsection (b), willfully injures or destroys, or attempts to injure or destroy, any structure, plaque, statue, or other monument on public property commemorating the service of any person or persons in the armed forces of the United States shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 10 years, or both.
(b) A circumstance described in this subsection is that—
(1) in committing the offense described in subsection (a), the defendant travels or causes another to travel in interstate or foreign commerce, or uses the mail or an instrumentality of interstate or foreign commerce; or
(2) the structure, plaque, statue, or other monument described in subsection (a) is located on property owned by, or under the jurisdiction of, the Federal Government.
