Not to pick a nit, but the USS Franklin, CV-13, was not sunk. It limped home after being saved by its crew. I condemn the actions of the Captain, but the article is incorrectly titled.

Thanks for sharing PO1 Tony Holland the terrifying tale of the USS Franklin which lost over 800 sailors by mishaps but was able to limp back.
