I don't know - seems more like a meme to me. Multiple identical headlines, pushing the same assumptions. If you'd have been in church on Sunday, most likely you WOULD have heard the violence condemned. I did.

Clearly you weren't in the same church as I was Sunday morning for the Bible study group, the morning service, or from what my wife tells me, evening service and the GrandMa's service group.
So what's the standard? Is my grange hall President implicitly endorsing White Nationalism and White Supremacy because they haven't issued a denunciation? I haven't heard anything from the President of the Rod and Gun Club, guess I better quit that, and the Fire Chief of the VRFD and Rescue Squad, better quit that too.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Elements of both sides left their homes and assembly areas armed. Elements of both sides arrived armed. Elements of both sides came spoiling for a fight. Elements of both sides kept their arms and used them. Who initiated what at various points of the day, will hopefully be decided in the courts and be severely punished.
The vehicular assault was by no means the first battle of the day. I have no idea if the people hit by the vehicle were combatants from earlier in the day. Sane people would have vacated the area once they realized the National Guard and the Police were not able to maintain control.
