Anne Frank was captured on this day in 1944. She died in March of 1945 just weeks before the end of the war. This is a good short biography with several short videos interspersed.

Thanks for the sad reminder SGT (Join to see) that young teenager Anne Frank was captured on this on August 4, 1944. Unsurprisingly this young woman perished of typhus at the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in Germany sometime between January 6, and late March, 1945.
Her actual date of death is unknown except to God at this point.
