Is that the Trivago guy in the picture? The article does bring up a good point about stocks vs bonds or even ETFs and Mutual Funds. IMO if you are stock invested, it might be time to take the gains recently attained and reinvest that part into at least mutual funds if not bonds.

Sgt Wayne Wood - It's the same with ETFs, what they offer is "instant" diversification vs individual stock purchases. They are subject to market fluctuation, but usually at less wild extremes than pure stock portfolios unless you go into a fund named something like "Amirifunds Extreme Risk Do Not Buy Fund". The fund managers are supposed to help mitigate some of the fluctuations. There is always risk though.
