It would be great news if it actually extended to all veterans. Read the fine print. It only applies to first term enlistees who come on after January 2018. In other words current vets get nothing from in. Currently serving military folks also get nothing from it. It will be great for those who come on next year and beyond, but it leaves out all other veterans.
