And yet not one word is given with how the others in his unit truly feel about it. Why is what anyone else thinks discounted? I guess that if you have problems with it, you're just a bigot right? Seems like the easy way out to call people that if they don't agree with you. BTW, if you don't agree with this statement, you're a bigot, because I have tattoos and an injury that causes me to limp. So you'd better just agree with me.

First, serving in the military is not a "right". It is a privilege. Many things disqualify people from serving. Transgenderism will again be one of them. Transgenderism requires the person to mentally reject the physiology of the Mark 1, Mod 0, body they were born with. Their physical sex was determined by their DNA. Their psychological reaction to their physical characteristics are determined by their DNA and their environment. IMO transgenderism is a psychosis. It is usually harmless to the public, but can be very harmful to the person. The application of medical science to accomplish a complete sex transformation is expensive, time consuming, and dangerous (all major surgery is dangerous). The accompanying psychological counseling is equally time consuming and possibly more expensive.
So, exactly why would the military want to take on the burden of a transgender person? The only reason I can think of is "by direction." That's what happened. The Democrat Administration wanted to score points with the LGBT community, so they implemented policies for the military that forced it to accept homosexuals and transgender people. (Thank you SEC Carter.) This did nothing for military readiness. It probably bought the Democrats a few votes. It's important to understand the Democrat's direction to the military to accept and integrate homosexual and transgender people, is not the same as the direction to accept and integrate racial minorities and women in the 20th Century. Neither race nor sex is an individual choice, thus discrimination on these factors is properly illegal and immoral. Liberals and Democrats treat the decisions to live homosexual or transgender life as a no-choice situation. It isn't. There's no yet-discovered DNA that makes a person homosexual. There isn't a DNA marker that says the person's physical sex is incorrect and should be surgically changed. (I recognize there are some babies born with both male and female sex organs. Doctors and parents often make a decision shortly after birth to surgically alter the baby to one sex or the other. A later DNA study might reveal the decision was not correct. These cases are very few.) In the end, the military was forced to grant behavior-based civil rights to people to satisfy political goals of civilian leadership. Now Mr Trump is turning that around.

Great tone set by the SSgt. Communicating a threat and obvious insubordination undertones could be chargeable offenses if pursued. Doubt it will happen, but if the policy to remove all transgendered regardless, the SSgt will get a pink slip and a DD214 within a week or two.
