Great video. Thanks much. During my time on country at the very end (70-71), just about all of my battalion's casualties were from booby traps.

The bad thing about these diverse traps is that we were on there soil. I'm sure if they were on ours it would be a reversed situation. Thank you for sharing

Way back about 1993, I was the 4th MarDiv liaison officer for counter-drug support for JTF-6. On one trip to Sequoia National Forest, the park rangers briefed us on the deterrent measures used by the pot growers in the back country to keep out LEOs and thieves. I had seen it all before. Deja Vu... It was like going through the Vietnam Staging Bn class on mines and booby traps from 1970 again.

I've seen some pretty interesting traps myself living out in the country. So I know what you mean MSgt George Cater
