Looking at this particular situation and what we currently know - I would not touch it with a 10 ft. pole. And that is all I am going to say at the present time.

Based upon the information that we have seen, as a retired police officer I would like that the officers better stick a fork in their asses because it looks like they are done big time.

Them and the department. I would not be suprised if the check written by the city is in the millions. I am more interested in their hiring practices. The shooting officer was heralded as the department's first Somali officer. I hope he was hired because he was the best candidate who happened to be Somali and not because they were looking to hire Somali officers.

Too little is known yet to reach any conclusions about what happened.....but it sure looks suspicious. She is the one that called for help.......she was dressed in pajamas, no weapon was found......she was standing on the driver's side of the car, and was shot from the passenger side officer. What could she possibly have done, standing there in her pajamas and unarmed, that would have caused a lethal response? It will be interesting to hear the justification for this shooting.
