Based on the rationale I am surprised that Lawrence Ware ever was a part of the Southern Baptist Convention. It is weird that he believes that Donald Trump has a "deep commitment to white supremacy"
"Lawrence Ware, a minister and co-director of the Center for Africana Studies at Oklahoma State University, is leaving the Southern Baptist Convention, the nation’s largest protestant church.
“Today I am officially renouncing my ordination in the Southern Baptist Convention,” Ware wrote in a open letter published in the New York Times this morning. “My reasoning is simple: As a black scholar of race and a minister who is committed to social justice, I can no longer be part of an organization that is complicit in the disturbing rise of the so-called alt-right, whose members support the abhorrent policies of Donald Trump and whose troubling racial history and current actions reveal a deep commitment to white supremacy.”

We are on the outside of the White House and not privy to the decision making processes - that means we may live longer. the stress of being President has grayed most peoples hair who have served in that incredibly demanding role.

I feel sorry for that Minister. That's a personnel judgment call he made, not a Godly one! Before everyone comments on my post, please realize this ministers reasoning; and I quote:I love the church, but I love black people more. "unquote". A true Christian, a true follower of God loves God more than, "anything in this world, even life"! That's a quote.
