Very interesting video, people have said it is hard to move in full plate armor, but it really comes down to what you are used to wearing, Having been in the SCA (a very long time ago) learning armor can be difficult, but like anything else, once you are used to it, and have it broken in (just like any other gear) it is actually easier, with the only real difficulty being your Helm and what style you are wearing (I had a T cross which is difficult to breath), But totally a fun video. Thanks for the share.

In reality, a knight from the Middle ages would SMOKE anyone alive today, in nearly any physical endeavor, and yes, I'd include Tier 1 Operators in that statement. I read an academic paper once (wish I could recall the title, I'd look it up), but it basically said, 'Sure, live your life carrying 100 pounds of armor and riding horses all day every day, fighting, and THEN you can test your mettle.' It basically said they were inhuman by today's standards.

and they were pretty good at taking major hits and keep on trucking. Watch a jousting contest sometime.

CPT Jack Durish - no, I have not watched them there yet, seen a few previews but not the show. But a very long time ago, I was in the SCA and went to a few tourneys (as a basic man at arms) and watched it first hand several times. I could not afford full plate and was never that good at riding a horse. But fun all the way around.

I'm glad I didn't have an opportunity to bet on this. I would have lost...
