I will say that they do have some funny posts there at the duffleblog, which is I think is the point, to get us a page to laugh at ourselves sometimes

Used to work with some fixed wing pilots flying around Central America and they were using up plenty of Oxygen although they hardly ever flew above 10,000 ft. AGL. Turns out they were using the oxygen to revive from the previous night of drinking at the club.

Been there, done that. Couple breaths of 100% O2 takes care of it though, shouldn't stay on long enough to cause that kind of reduction in supply.
