VICTORY FOR VETERANS MARCH ON AMERICA announces its ‘VICTORY TOUR: BIKE22’
VFVMOA's second NATIONAL event, THE VICTORY TOUR: BIKE22, begins TODAY July 2, 2017.
The purpose of this event, lasting over a year, is to raise awareness of Veteran suicides, the more than 22 daily!, hear from Veterans across the country and build the foundation, a billion dollar foundation. The earnings from this fund, about $50M per year - perpetually, will be used to impact the lives of our Veterans in need.
We welcome your involvement to volunteer in a city or just be a presence in support of our Veterans. City locations can be found on the company web site.
"This Victory Tour is our second public, national event to raise awareness of Veteran’s issues around the country and to build the foundation. We are off and we hope to see you in your city, either bike with us, stand on the sidewalk as we pass by and wave and scream! .. but join us! We’re so excited to begin this journey." says Steve Durgin, Founder and CEO of Victory For Veterans Foundation, Inc.
Mr Durgin continues, “The name BIKE22 is in reference to the 22 suicides occurring daily among our Veterans. It is these suicides which provoked one general to say (this), ‘is a national crisis and disgrace’. We want the general public to be aware of the tragedies taking place daily and to take action and fight for our service men and women!”
The organization's' mission is to serve Veterans in need. This is done by focusing on suicide prevention, mental health, homelessness, joblessness, legislative change, ptsd, tbi, mst, disabilities and other challenges faced by our Veterans.
Victory For Veterans Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization developing a national ecosystem of partners to deliver superior services for our Veterans and improving quality of life. VFVMOA was established October 19, 2016 in Fountain Valley, CA. All contributions are tax deductible.
