Couple of things people dont realize:

1) That magic number of people that Obamacare claimed to insure that didnt have insurance before - a large portion where young healthy people who didnt WANT health insurance and were forced to buy it.

2) Therefore this is the same number that will now "LOOSE" insurance...because they will stop paying for something they didnt want to begin with and were forced to obtain by Obamacare.

3)Powers which are not expressly given to the federal government with in the constitution belong to the state - the federal government should not be involved in healthcare as it usurps state rights.

4)Free market could fix this issue faster than the government ever will. people who want health insurance would be able to obtain it - just not for free. Then lets have states work on a plan within their state aimed specifically at their citizens that cant work/are disabled and need help getting insurance - a small percentage of population.

Lastly - they want free healthcare - they can
1)Service in the military for 4 years active duty etc and qualify for VA or
2) I support a 4 year non military service (humanitarian work, building houses, fighting forest fires, working in kitchens - what ever but it needs to be similar in commitment to military service (although you really cant compare the sacrifices the military makes and the risks). regardless - something that equals 4 years of dorm living, crap pay - service to country... Then and only then do they get healthcare and education paid by government - its not "free" because you paid through service to country.

Actually, they didn't buy it...they opted to pay the tax penalty which was less expensive.

Im a fat civilian 40 year old scout mom - not sure anyone would vote for me... plus Im not so good with that not sharing my thoughts thing. Its not that I lack depth - its just that the water is very very clear.... and fundamentally I wold rather struggle under the flag of liberty than live any easy life under the chains of socialism. I dont need government help. Dont want it. Wont accept it.

CMSgt (Join to see) - with three sons my insurance went from 250 a month to 1K.... so I could pay for those who couldnt. In true socialist fashion - its not cheaper - we just make other people pay for you.

CMSgt (Join to see) - One of the earlier CBO reports said that there would be 30 million uninsured in a decade. This is less. And some of those that will lose their coverage will be able to go back to there old insurance that charges by service taken, Not a cable broadcast take is all or nothing plan.

How is there automatically 22 million people uninsured? Find an insurer, pay the premium, continue working.

As someone noted earlier, most cities have medical facilities for the poor and indigent. Pro bono. Our area has 2-3 times a year when free dental and medical is provided, no questions asked. Just wait in line. Medicaid and SCHIP is also, unless I missed something.

The left figures Obamacare REQUIRES those 22 million to buy insurance. Most won't buy health insurance once the mandate is lifted when Obamacare is repealed.

I'm still waiting to see in black and white where anything says that 22 million people will magically become uninsured.

Also, this crap that's being pushed in Congress isn't a Trump healthcare plan, it's a RINO healthcare plan. If it were a Trump healthcare plan, he and his staff would be working on putting it together, Not the RINOs in the House.

It's complicated. His words. Trump doesn't touch complicated. Other than complimenting then bashing the House bill, has he given us any idea what he wants to see in Healthcare legislation? Of course not. He doesn't tell his GOP congressmen what to do.
