Why not? Man can't have principles unless the mass supports em? Had MLK been here today, he'd be ridiculed, jailed, and the IRS taken everything he ever dreamed of. At least they couldn't take his job being he was a Pastor. X would've been shot down by someone else NOT in the NOI. I haven't seen Bundy get put in jail, Brady give out suits to ANYONE regardless of party or race after being released after doing their time, but Kap was blackballed plain and simple. He even gave up his shoe collection which if you're a sneakerhead, was worth A LOT! He won't be back, unless in a severely demoted third string behind the JV QB for any NFL team.

MLK then was not loved beyond the blacks like he is today. He was beaten, locked up, had the FBI interfering with his protests and had his character assinated much like someone else who suddenly cannot play to make a living. The real difference is the fact Kap isn't broke. Folks make it seem like he is, but that rookie contract had more than enough to set him up nicely and he didn't blow it like most athletes. I'm disappointed he isn't hired, but had he beaten his wife, done a ton of drugs, caught multiple DUI's, or been on a sex cruise, he'd be playing for someone with no problem. Love my football, but this political game they're playing is complete and total BS. Goodells answer 'he doesn't get into player rosters' is more BS. You make up shit to suspend or ban players based off a CBA he doesn't even know.

SSG Trust Palmer - but you have to have the dialogue to help others understand or even make them state their case. Anyone can be wrong 100% of the time...takes A LOT of work to be RIGHT 50% of the time. Each one Teach one.
