I've met literally hundreds of Muslims, and none of them talk about "taqiya." Like ever. The only time they bring it up is how right-wing idiots think they're doing it left and right, which is preposterous that ~8 million American Muslims would pull that off, not to mention the 1.8 billion outside America.

The only time I voted was in 2012 and I voted Republican.
I'm not a liberal.
The MENA region has a long, complex history. Swearing and calling people butt hurt libtards is definitely not the rhetoric of someone free of massive cognitive dissonance.

He selectively used Pew and Gallup, not citing the full research - I'm familiar with several of them, and they're actually self contradicting in their entirety.

You can't blast Maher for cherry picking and then do the exact same thing... Which is what this author did.

... As for toppling dictators, that is irrelevant to the OP.
