CW3 Lindsey Muller Really, a drive-by Chief? Without even the courtesy of an explanation? Seems unlike you. I will point out that I am not railling against TG's here. If you want to be a woman, fine, call yourself a woman. WHY would you need a third moniker? If you want to be a woman, WHY are you (collective you, not you you) setting yourself apart? You're saying 'I want you to recognize me in a manner that NO OTHER HUMANS ON EARTH get recognized'. It's flat-out ridiculous. There are TWO genders. Two. Not 3. Not 10. Two. I can accept (though disagree with) people feeling better identifying as the opposite sex. But to want your own label? Nope. That's just attention-seeking, and a further effort to shove the TG agenda down everyone's throat.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - Biology tells you there's more than 2 homo sapiens genders? Please cite your sources. Please also add a source that shows that anthropology and zoology also have shown that humans have more than 2 genders.

SN Greg Wright - Al three have referred to gender as a spectrum for at least 30 years.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - Please provide a source. You're making a claim that accepted science does not support. I'm willing to be wrong, if you can show me I am.

Actually there are other countries who recognize a third gender, the most well known being the Hijra of India. The concept people are trying to push in the US is that gender is not a binary system; it's a spectrum, much like sexuality with 100% hetero at one end, 100% homo at the other & bisexuality in the middle. Some people identify as bigender (feeling aspects of both male & female), agender (feeling NEITHER male nor female), pangender (multiple genders), etc. The language is trying to catch up with what the psyche knows/feels. This is what they've come up with.
