Thanks for reminding us LTC (Join to see) about the slow and frozen disaster from the doomed 1848 Canadian expedition to find the Northwest Passage.

I was just watching the PBS Science Show Nova and next week it's going to discuss about the discovery of the Franklin Expedition where they found one if not both of the ships underwater. The story came out last year but at least you can be on the lookout for this show next week.

LTC (Join to see) Brave and or Crazy. Northwest Passage has always been the Holy Grail and a Damn Good Shortcut if Possible. More Possible these days than it was then.

It said that lead poison was a contributing factor. It's amazing in the permafrost that those sailors showed extremely high amounts of lead in their bodies due to poor canning technology at the time.

LTC (Join to see) - Walking Dead, Zombies would be a good way to describe the Brain Damage from Lead Poisoning.
