From the course title, “Communication Studies 167: Sex, Politics, and Race: Free Speech on Campus.” you would've never guessed this was from a conservative viewpoint until you looked up the professor's credentials, bio, and attended the course. I would like to know more about Kerri Johnson's incredibly left-leaning ideology that is in conflict with this professor's teachings and apparently the university is supporting the treatment of him.
Having class size limits isn't new; especially the high demand and popular courses; my university had several. PTEs for 150 seats and his course is the only one that requires PTEs? Not buying the "...this class is crucial to my preparation for law school,” comment from the student. Sometimes you can't get what you want.

Ok this is also interesting. He went from an auditorium that held 293 to one that holds 171. It must be because Kerri Johnson doesn't like him. Damn you got to love politics in school.

The free market at work is providing lots of students who want to take the course. UCLA should add sessions. On a side note, it is sad that there has to be a free speech class on a college campus. Free speech should be the most protected right on campus, but I know this is just crazy talk.

Seems like an easy course: you have the right to speak your mind in public spaces as long as you don't engage in slander or have a reckless disregard for the safety of others. You do not have the right to be protected from criticizm of your speech.

Class done. Lol.

Lol, I hope they are not teaching that. Though the political correctness watchdogs seem to want to push in that direction.

The solution seems, to me, to be quite simple. Offer two courses a semester. Virtually no extra prep work, just an additional few hours a week in front of the podium. And if he was already going to admit those students, there is no extra grading work, either.
