That's one big ol' boat. From what I was reading this morning it looks like there are three of these behemoths planned. Pretty cool.

Carriers are big, but the general sense of just HOW big they are is overinflated. In the world of big ships, they're actually pretty small. That ore carrier that sank last week was 3 times the size, and ULCCs can be up to 6 times the size, by deadweight tonnage. (Not length of course -- no steel structure that long could withstand the seas).
