'I'm officially off the Trump Train': Trump's online base is furious about the Syria strikes

I wonder how many of those who "left the Trump train" were never on board to begin with. Where are their ticket stubs?

I continue to support him and think he made the right choice! Obama drew a line in the sand with the same country and then when they violated his directive or crossed his line instead of retaliation, he went golfing. At least Trump has some balls. Didn't you see those two month old babies writhing on the exam table till they quit moving? Do you know what Seran Nerve gas does to you before you die? I think he did the right thing and if we have to clean up someone else's mess then so be it.

Can't force him to do a damn thing he doesn't want to do. Every President has to have their "flex the muscles" moment, so why would a man who on one hand calls all the Generals Obama had "weak" then hires them in various roles? Does that make them "Strong" or "Army Strong"? Would Trump take us to war? Why not? He has a rather large and experienced construction arm in his empire, so all those "no bid" contracts go to him the same way Cheney did with Halliburton. IF we were to go, how in the hell will he get enough troops to bolster the ranks, and actually believe he won't screw them over? Iraq was a war that shouldn't have happened, so we were fucked then, Obama had a great idea but a miserable outcome with pulling out, along with congress dropping thousands from the branches, and you want us to come back to "help"? Trump can't trust his own appointee's so we're supposed to? You campaigned on a notion of America First. How in the hell is America First when you're sending us into Nam pt3? I'll do what is needed to protect America. No issues there, and it would be done for any President, but when you have your ENTIRE knowledge base not on the sidelines, not even in the stadium, but being told "you had a bad eval back in 87, so you're not fit for duty, how are you going to convince them to come back in, knowing there is NO promotion potential, no additional benefits, and in some cases enlisted and officers who were forced out, having jobs and family commitments that put them in a much better position now than when they served? This is a humanitarian issue or at least should be seen as one. There is no credible evidence IMO that warrants an all in assault knowing we will be fighting Assad, Putin, and anyone who wants to take a shot at us. Lot more of them than there are of us. Let the Arab League deal with this. If we go in, this will make the current national debt look like "chump change" due to the sheer numbers against us. Let them deal with it, and IF we're needed, send "advisors" there to get a pulse of the situation on the ground, report it from different angles that won't be pleasant, don't filter the results and present them to the NSC as a whole and with firm and concrete courses of action that will be shot down due to the vast military experience our Generals and Admirals DON'T have but the President does.
I cannot speak for anyone else, but I am tired of seeing young men and women in the prime of their lives in body bags. It's the same people who answered the call the 99% ignore, for various reasons. Why can't these "kids" grow and enjoy the prime of their lives when you have a shitlioad of busted and broke troops who would GLADLY go in their place? I don't want to see ANY of your children in uniform in a war, where they come home but DO NOT COME HOME either mentally, missing limbs, or physically. I don't have shit here. No kids, no wife, my immediate family, but I asked to do it then to pull my own weight, I'd ask to do it for someone else now. The materialistic shit can be sold, and all I'd need is a little bit of time to get back in the mood. A TB of porn, some TP (the kind with lotion in it), a group who are there to do a job, do it right and not do it to get your "bones", CIB, CAB, or the MOH. No badass here. I don't like violence unless you have intent on giving my family and country harm.
