The government has no business dictating which charities America should be funding. Let Planned Parenthood join the others with their hands out. Some will donate. I won't. And I am greatly offended that the govt uses the power of taxation to fund causes that offend me morally. If others want to donate, that is their choice. They have no right to inflict their choices on me.

SP5 Christine Conley - There you go again. Who said anything about me being offended by funding women's healthcare? I'd be offended by you if you weren't so damn funny making up this stuff.

SP5 Christine Conley - Nothing about Planned Parenthood offends me. It simply is not a charity to which I would donate but, alas, the government strips me of the right to choose for myself which charities I support. THAT offends me. NPR, PBS, and countless other organizations also should depend on donations honestly and voluntarily given by their supporters, but there too the govt prescribes who I must donate to support. And if I refuse to pay my taxes so long as they support these organizations, they can use force, the point of a gun, imprisonment, to make me. THAT offends me.

There is some more good news. Less and less central planning from Washington supporting their social programs.
