I firmly believe yes, they were hiding things that they didn't want the general public to see.

And what if foreign operatives also hacked the RNC (and RNC denies it to save face) or hacked private accounts of RNC members, Trump staff, etc and they keep close hold potential blackmailing information for use later? As you said, the information leaked about HRC and DNC are real and was leaked but the real issue is the active campaign of foreign assets hacking political servers and members of political parties. That's the national security threat that should be focus of any investigation. Just look at recent Wikileaks CIA leaks; the timing wasn't coincidence. Our democracy is at stake if the enemy can infiltrate and manipulate our political leaders regardless of party affiliation. I'm SO over this election and more concerned about securing future elections.

I may have to watch the full Comey hearing. There is a report today that Comey confirmed Russian intelligence penetrated GOP systems and stole information. If he indeed made that revelation in the hearing, that opens a whole series of other questions and concerns the American people should have.
