In my view this is a very serious accusation and they should put up the evidence or shut up on it. For a President or his administration to run around spreading rumors like this with no evidence to present is something everyone should reject as not acceptable behavior.

SPC Erich Guenther - or - is one party better than the other? Each has their own agenda, but different means.........The rich get richer and the poor get poorer; or - the Poor get richer and the rich get poorer. . . . . either way - people loose!

You think this is Democrat/Republican issue? Interesting. In truth, one of my greatest concerns is how far the media has fallen. Also, I do not follow anyone on Tweeter and it is only because the media took Trump's bait that this is a story but I do think it is troubling if a sitting President would tap, or mine, the opposing party's candidates info, but I hope I'm not the only one,,,but it has probably when happening all along.

President Trump has too much on his plate to waste time on rehashing the past. He should follow President Obama's example of simply taking responsibility for all and pressing on. (Seriously, I crack myself up)

What I heard her say, today, on NBCs Today Show is that government agencies may have been conducting surveillance, but she backed away from Trump's original claim that Obama directed the surveillance. I believe she also backed away from accusing anyone in the Obama White House of ordering surveillance. In her interview today it sounds like she is implying that some government agency was conducting an investigation of the Trump campaign's connections to the Russians. That's a far cry from Trump's accusation that "Obama tapped" his phones. Additionally, the Trump administration has failed to provide any evidence that the surveillance ever occurred, or if it occurred, that it was illegal.

MSG Brad Sand - Conway said that neither the President nor anyone in the White House directed the wire tapping. That is a direct contradiction of Trump's tweet. Also, there's no evidence that any surveillance was conducted. If an investigation was conducted, Trump would have to show that it was illegal for it to matter. Trump's tweet was clearly intended to allude to a Watergate style wire tapping of his phones. But the Watergate wire tapping was not conducted by a government agency as part of a court sanctioned investigation. If surveillance of the Trump campaign was conducted and if it was part of a court sanctioned investigation, then that surveillance was legal and there is no comparison to Watergate. Still, I'm waiting for Trump to provide evidence to back up his original tweet.

Sir, did not listen to Conway, I might go back and listen, but her comment change nothing to what I have said, regardless.
You are factually wrong about any evidence but, again, that does not even change anything I have said.
IF the evidence is declassified, why would the President have to show it is was illegal because it would matter that President Obama, or someone on his staff, was spying on the opposing political party's Presidential Candidate? Pretty sure whomever was behind that tapping and/or data mining better be able to show their actions were legal?
The Watergate tapping was not court sanctioned, nor was it tapping, it was not legal but not done by people currently part of the government per se. What did get President Nixon was his attempts to aid the cover up of the burglary.

MSG Brad Sand - you really confused me here? First, Conway's own statement, made today on national television, contradicts the very premise that you are promoting. You really ought to listen to her Today Show interview. Next, If there is some evidence of surveillance, how come no one has seen it? Even Republicans are asking to see the evidence. Finally, just because you are a candidate for office, that doesn't mean you are allowed to engage in illegal activities. So if an agency is conducting a legally sanctioned investigation and a candidate is caught up in the investigation, there's nothing illegal or even unethical about investigation the candidate.

MSG Brad Sand - What evidence is the Major factually wrong about? You seem to have "facts "that none else has so could you lay out those facts?
