The list is striking for how many former lobbyists it contains: We found at least 36, spanning industries from health insurance and pharmaceuticals to construction, energy and finance. Many of them lobbied in the same areas that are regulated by the agencies they have now joined.
That figure is almost certainly an undercount since we only included those who formally registered as lobbyists, a process increasingly avoided by many in Washington.
During the campaign, Trump said he would have “no problem” banning lobbyists from his administration. But they have nonetheless ended up in senior roles, aided by Trump’s weakening of Obama-era ethics rules that modestly limited lobbyists’ role in government.
So much for "draining the swamp."
Standing by for the obligatory defense of Trump's action...

He's not draining the swamp......he's just bringing in bigger and meaner alligators, mixed in with a variety of dangerous snakes.

so meaner alligators does this offend you that this is what it takes to drain the swamp, are you so blind that after 8 yrs of Obama, that industry has left, that unemployment is at a record high despite the polls, once your unemployment has run out you are no longer counted, but now you are on welfare, these are the real stats, draining the swamp includes those same people that voted themselves a raise every year while you didn't serving your country think about that, your health insurance, does it match that in which can order you into a combat zone wake the f&ck up, and I know for sure my 31 yrs service retirement doesn't even come close to some prick that served only 2-3 terms in senate/congress

the way to Drain the swamp it to start at the sides ... break a whole in one side and work your way in and force the bad water out and Load the sides with solid and hard rock to Keep the swamp from spreading...
