The mainstream media have openly declared themselves as being in opposition to the Trump Presidency. They have dropped the "Defender of Truth" motto in favor of publishing stories that make themselves "feel good about themselves".

CSM StCyr, If I'm not mistaken the media didn't exactly throw their weight behind Secretary Clinton; there was an amazing amount of stories going on and on about the email / server issue and the latest breathless accusations from Wikileaks. I was frankly disgusted that leaked information that couldn't be verified was pushed forward the way the 'leaks' were. What a bonfire of nonsense!
Could you explain what you mean by "When you are bombarded nightly by negative reporting that fails to mention the positive achievements that have been made, they blow it." As far as I know, the negative information about Trump was accurate - he was a con man who had gone bankrupt multiple times, who cheated his own subcontractors and ordinary workers, who has long been suspected of benefiting from deals with Russian mobsters. Tell me where that isn't accurate if you can.

SSG (Join to see) - Pretty clear in my writing, watch the news then spend a few minutes researching the stories, reviewing articles from overseas and comparing percentages and crime reports as published by agencies. It's amazing what is and is not reported and what activities are not presented accurately when placed side by side with actual data from non-political sources. most countries have pretty good web sites that reflect statistical data on crime, terrorism and economics. Belgium has about the best one I've seen, Germany has a pretty good one also.

Also spend a few minutes reviewing contract law for construction and the process of withholdings for work not completed to standards and read a few large scale contracts and the clauses that deal with withholdings, you will be amazed that many of the claims don't hold water when you know what can and can't be done. And yes enforcement of those clauses pretty frequently results in adjudication through the courts, and yes sometimes you don't get paid everything if you don't meet the standard. Do what you're supposed to, the way you're supposed to, when you're supposed to and you get paid what you're supposed to.

Have you ever done any work in and around Chicago or Philadelphia, large number of Eastern European Immigrants involved as owners and workers in construction businesses, pretty hard to build anything that hasn't got one or more subcontractors tied to that ethnic group. So if you build things you probably at least have those folks on payroll at some point, doing something in the process. To some folks "Russians " are anyone from Eastern Europe.

Unfortunately I don't have time to churn out an APA college style paper or produce a USASMA quality position paper / decision briefing defending my points but if you take a minute and do a little looking you'll see I'm pretty close to target, and the press as currently stands is not performing at the level of integrity and neutrality we deserve. Which was the point of the post.

Kellyann Conway said it is remarkable how journalist completely missed what was going on in the election and no heads rolled. How many news organizations revamped? How many news organizations fired managers etc? Well it seems to me NONE! It was more like a failure at propaganda than a failure to publish the truth. So the propaganda continues.
