Who Are the Real Fascists?

You clearly did not watch the video because that is exactly why she says we should stop calling everyone fascists.

MAJ (Join to see) - Based on some of the OPs other posts I'm not convinced that was his intent. But I'm probably reading too much into it.

Marginalization creates tribes,pitting tribe against tribe. It's easier to swoop in with the "fix" if you can convince everyone that the other tribe is out to get your tribe.

Having now watched the video, it's obvious she is still confused on a lot of issues... especially when it comes to the right and the power of the State. There are both Libertarians and Authoritarians on both the political left and right. Fascists are obviously not going to be heavily libertarian since they want government making decisions for people instead of individual liberty. Antifascists tend to come from the left, however they can also come from the libertarian right.

I also tend to be concerned by someone on the right trying to normalize fascism.

She also went into the actual philosophies and spoke about it's origins. It's a short video but gives incite into where to look for the rest of the story. Since she's also Canadian and not one of us American's trying to explain it, her points carry more merit since most American people on the left would outright dismiss her thesis.
