Being sent to Norway for 6 months probably irks the Marines too. I was set to go to Norway for 30 days when Desert Storm deployment saved me from the tundra and rating the arctic service medal. I can tell you that I wasnt excited about defending the northern flank of NATO

Didn't the USMC always have units rate rotating up there for decades? The Russians get mad about that but they have no problem putting two divisions worth of soldiers on the Baltic or Polish border so they're hypocrites

Who cares if Russia like it ? Russia sure isn't any friend to Norway anyway, that's for sure. No apology is in order from us either !
