SGT Damaso V Santana - Ganapathy is hailed as a hero in much of India for his devotion to helping the poor, and fighting for the oppressed. I may not agree with everything he does, but there is a good reason my parents named me after him.

"Compare this to somewhere like Billingsley, Alabama, which is 99 percent white, mostly uneducated, and absolutely isolated from the rest of the country."

Racist bigot, much? You're the same kid that was here stirring this shit up before with your 'Republicans are uneducated' rhetoric. What, did you get banned and made a new account? Let's have admins take a look.

PV2 Ganapathy Rao - You are confusing two different terms. Racism and Reverse Racism are two different things. The Oxford English Dictionary gives two definitions for Racism:

1.prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior.
2 the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.

The same source defines Reverse Racism:
a phenomenon in which discrimination, sometimes officially sanctioned, against a dominant or formerly dominant racial or other group representative of the majority in a particular society takes place, for a variety of reasons, often initially as an attempt at redressing past wrongs.

So anyone is capable of being a racist.

PV2 Ganapathy Rao - "Since I am not white, I do not have institutional privilege, and therefore, it is impossible for me to be racist." Queen Latifah basically said the same thing on a talk show. I'm darn near positive sure she also said, "I never met a white person I had any use for." but it's been scrubbed from the Internet.

Your answer smacks of racism. The mere fact that you claim you can't be racist because of your race, makes you one. Hypocrisy much?
