How the hell do you get away with Infecting 600 Veterans With HIV Or Hepatitis?
What in the sam hell is going on here? Is this typical or an isolated event?

I hope it is not typical but I do not think we can say it is isolated if nearly 600 people were effected?
After reading the short article, I am not sure that it is really as bad as it appears and I would like the details. It seems the problem is that the dentist was using and cleaning his own equipment, which was what we all grew up with, survived the 80's with, but the author and VA now what the dentist to use disposable equipment. If I had to guess, which I am doing from the limited information, this is an older dentist who was probably treating all 592 veterans for years and no one had a real issue except the dental equipment sales rep, who is now outraged.

The Veterans will need immediate care and at the same time the dentist needs to be identified and criminal proceedings initiated...NOW
