SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL I expect that under President Donald Trump Defense will go back to the priority it held until, POTUS Obama came along and elevated HHS to the top priority for budgeting and emphasis.
Hopefully military service pay raises will catch up to civilian counterparts and sequestration will end soon.
I hope that Congress recognizes the opportunity is there to give a significant pay raise to the troops and that it will be passed early next year and made retroactive to the beginning of the federal funding year.
Hopefully the incoming President Trump administration will let Congress know that pork should be added to congressional bills. "Pork" should be voted on in stand alone bills.

Historically service members have benefited from a CIC within the Republican party. I certainly hope Trump continues with that tradition.
