Capt Michael Greene - Let's start with your assertion that "Trump's father was a member of the KKK." No evidence to support it but even if true, so what? Do you really want to go down that path and open up Hillary's close ties with high ranking members of the KKK? To be fair, if my father wasn't a member of the KKK, he should have been. The American Nazi Party as well. My father was the most bigoted man I ever knew or even heard of and I've spent my life being the opposite of him. However, if I ran for office, I'd be tarred by that brush as well. So let's focus on Donald Trump, the one who's running for President. Yes, the media loves to pick and choose fragments of his utterances and some racists have attached themselves to the "Donald Trump" portrayed by them. Donald speaks out against illegal aliens, most of whom are Hispanic, and the media portrays this as bias against all Hispanics. Well, I'm with Donald. The illegal aliens are law breakers and many have gone on to commit violent felonies. Because of this Administration's attempts to woo the Hispanic vote, law enforcement keeps giving them a pass and many return to commit even more felonies. It's a problem that needs to be corrected and Donald has spoken out vigorously on this. Good for him. And the media has used this to portray him as a bigot. Shame on them and shame on you for propagating it. So let's start there.

CPT Jack Durish - I've watched several whole speeches and all the debates, so I've seen him speak in context. He is definitely a racist and a misogynist. He is ignorant of national and international issues and has no desire to learn. He is delusional, believing himself to be near godlike in his omniscience and omnipotence. He is emotionally unstable, hitting back 10 times harder to perceived slights that really should not take up his time at all. He doesn't have policies or principles that apply to national leadership, he has feelings. In fact, he can change his position in the middle of a rambling paragraph. I don't trust him with the Football, with NATO, or with foreign relationships.

We have a system in place for dealing with law breaking immigrants. It needs some beefing up. But mass incarceration and building a wall gives me no confidence.

I agree with Capt Greene but not in the way one might hope for. I don't know what he was actually meaning to say but think I know what he said - that Trump bears responsibility. I'm not saying he told someone to go do it at all but just that his words may have indirectly caused someone to do it. I think it's a stretch to say he intended to cause it to happen by his inflammatory speech and it would be nearly impossible to prove he had any such "intent". I think a strong argument could be made that his words indirectly led to this same as the guy that was elbow smashed at NC rally etc. It's not something one could prosecute except in court of public opinion but even at the most basic level he is responsible to some degree. Here's a twist though...what if a Dem operative did it? That opens a whole new can of worms. Who caused it is moot because whoever actually did it is the one we should be worried about the most.
