Now this is the kind of sports roll model there should be more of. Despite the publicity we all see, there is more to the world than playing sports and making huge sums of money. I'll bet he is happier with his life now than he ever was playing football.
Interesting that this post shows up on a military related site. Can't count the number of times that I've heard people comment on exorbitant salaries paid to sports figures in comparison to what members of the military receive. Jason Brown obviously realized that he could do more good for the people of the world by becoming a farmer than he ever could by playing football.
Please don't get me wrong, I love football, even played all thru college but there is more to life than huge sums of money from playing professional sports.

I just thought this was a fitting post considering all we seem to see from the NFL is other negative things. I just thought it was a good piece to post. I still have faith that some people care more about humanity than money.
