Was boarding a plane, there was a drunk guy in front of me that kept talking to the other person in front of him. Spewing random stuff really. Plane took awhile to take off, and all passengers were then released due to maintenance issues. Once we re-boarded the plane, the drunk guy (guess he went to the bar to wait) came back and goes "I'M TWICE AS DRUNK NOW SO YOU'RE F*CKED!" I couldn't stop laughing if my life depended on it.

My reserve unit was sent to Saudi Arabia during Desert Schield / Desert Storm. Our unit issued us weapons from the unit armory . We flew over on a charter flight. On the way back we flew commercial and had to carry our weapons with us. Got a lot of funny looks walking through airports.

They took us through maintenance passageways. We had to do the same thing.

I was able to pick up quite a few rifle cases for $% at a gun show here in El Paso, as the Service Members were required to have their rifles in gun cases to ship and had no further use for them.

A long time ago, I was at the airport, going back from leave. This Hare Krishnut offered me a thick book, so I took said book.

Then he was after me, shouting that they needed a $20.00 donation, if I wanted to keep the book. I answered that he voluntarily gave me the book, without saying anything about a donation.

I offered him $5.00, but that seemed to hit the volume button to the top level, on him.

An airport cop came up and said something about us taking our 'discussion' outside, to which I readily agreed.

The protesting guy wasn't into settling anything, so he walked away, pretty much embarrassed. I still had the book, so I flew back with it, to my base.

I don't recall the name of that book, but it made for some fine table and chair levelers! I did have to rip the book at the spine, to accomplish such multitasking, 'though.

I miss the Hare Krishna, at the airport, of LAX. Traveling in uniform from the 70's - 90's, but 911 happened and poof they were gone..
