If we have learned anything from our time in the military, no matter how long or short, it is that PowerPoint teaches nothing. Having said that, communicate with your children in an honest fashion. We have become a people that are so concerned with delicate sensibilities that we are ignoring actual harm.

My son knows that I check his computer usage on a regular basis. I don't care if he likes it or not. I have told him that I do it and why. "I don't want someone who seeks to hurt you to be reaching out." I have talked to him about sending photos of himself. He's 10. Too young? Personally, I think so; but pedophiles don't. I don't like it, but I play by their rules because I want to be in front of them.
