It's likely that this is a junior sailor taking a side on something she shouldn't at least in that form. NJP 40/40 1/2 pay x2 and counseling. I don't give a rats ass about some football player choosing to sit during the anthem. That's his right. Freedom of speech and what not. Anyone serving however should be intelligent enough to realize that in following suit would cause them trouble. I think a reminder is needed in the form of NJP and we should move on. It's not like this sailor went out and killed someone or got a DUI and hurt someone (although in itself would be an issue).

Quick question, if something were to happen to this sailor what would be presented to her family? did she feel the need to make this protest prior to the athlete's sitting it out? I like/agree with the comment really stop and think about what your protesting and what is it accomplishing, if nothing, find other means.
